a real update

so, I haven't really given a real update on here for awhile. I've been busy. The past few weeks have basically consisted of working 28-32 hours a week at Starbucks, and then probably at least 25 or so at Northview. And I've been tired b/c of that! The early morning shifts at Starbucks are rough. I asked my manager not to schedule me anymore before 6am, b/c it's too hard. Takes a few days to recover. Out of the several Starbucks closing in our area, mine is not one of them.

My roomie and I secured an apt. at Autumn Woods for the next year. We are very excited, and will start moving stuff in mid-August. Actually, she'll move in then, and I'll join her a few weeks later. Can't wait! Just hope I have money to pay for it. Oh lack of real job.

On that topic, things should be starting to move here with the job prospects. I'm really hoping something full time can be worked out, but if not, I'll just see how it goes. I will let you know when I know. The waiting and uncertainty stinks, but it'll all come together in time.

Things I need to be more intentional/diligent about: time with the Lord, calling friends, and working out. It's harder these days to make it over to the Fishers Y... it's so far from where I live. But I paid for another month, so I'm gonna use it and then cancel here in a few weeks. I've had other things taking up my time lately, so the Jesus time has gotten the shaft. But that needs to be fixed. Always a struggle to make that time, why is that?? I always feel so good when I do it. Still working on being disciplined.
